TV Mounting & Home Theater

TVs mounted level and secure, cables hidden and soundbars and shelves set up so the room looks clean.

A TV on the wall frees up space and looks great, but only when it is mounted properly. A large screen weighs a lot, and a mount that is not anchored into studs or the right backing can fail. Cables dangling down the wall spoil the look.

We mount TVs on fixed, tilting and full-motion arms, on drywall, brick, stone, over fireplaces and on mantels. We find studs or add backing, mount the bracket level, hide cables in the wall with an in-wall kit and set up soundbars, shelves and gaming consoles.

Anchored to hold

We locate studs with a finder, use lag bolts for wood framing and masonry anchors for brick or stone. A large TV deserves real support, not drywall anchors.

Clean cable runs

In-wall kits route power and HDMI behind the drywall, so there is no cord on the wall. Where an in-wall run is not possible, we use paintable raceways.

Height and viewing

We set the TV at a comfortable eye level for your seating, which is lower than most people expect, and especially important above fireplaces.

Sound and comfort

A soundbar, a shelf for devices and good cable management make a TV area feel complete. We can set up sound as well as mounting.

Questions

TV Mounting FAQ

Can you mount a TV on brick or stone?

Yes, with the right masonry anchors and drill bits. We check the material first.

Can you hide the cords inside the wall?

Yes. We use in-wall power and cable kits, or a paintable raceway when the wall cannot be opened.

How high should my TV be?

Eye level when seated is the rule. We mark it with you before drilling.

Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?

Yes, with attention to heat, height and viewing angle. A tilting or pull-down mount can help.

Can you hide a soundbar?

Yes. We mount soundbars below the TV and route their cables out of sight.
